The day could not have been better...
Luke Joe and Zeb rode up as ring bearers in front of
Craig who was on CM Burnt In Gold, Shell rode up on CM
Carrington Park Reisling, and her dad Ben gave her away
from the back of Shells 27 yr old pony Jojo... Shell has
always wanted Jojo in her wedding, and got her wish!
The weather was perfect, slightly overcast and a slight
breeze... brilliant!
Everyone who was there said they loved it as it was
unusual... The celebrant, Les Spinks had never married
two people who were on horseback before....
The horses behaved themselves wonderfully, and we
were able to exchange rings and the kiss on them ... we
were a little uncertain as to how it would go with a crowd
watching them!
Being married at 11am actually meant we had the whole day ahead of us... We had a wonderful day which
shall remain in our memories forever!
Raelene and Ben, Shells parents, came over from Whyalla in South Australia, as did Margaret and Les
Hosking and their boys, and Cindy Venning...
Wendy Clark and her husband Nobby and their boys also came from Gawler in SA...
Craigs mum Lyn and soon to be step father Ken came up from Newcastle, as did Craigs brother Scott and
his fiance Aleasha... Other friends travelled up from Newcastle, Sydney, Scone, and surrounding areas...
We had a wonderful  bucnh of friends and family there... It was always inteneded to be a small affair there,
and a reception over at Whyalla on the 22nd of March... The backdrop of the Wollemi National Park and the
mountains was gorgeous, and our backyard!
Les Hosking provided a lot of fun for the kids with the Whip Cracking lessons after the BBQ....Not just the little
kids either!!!
Without his and Margarets help with the saddling up and dealing with the horses it would hav been a very
stressful day!!
We would love to publicly thank everyone involved... we are blessed to have such wonderful families and
friends.... We love you all very much!!!
I love that our horses were a huge part of our wedding, Craigs Warmblood/ASH gelding and my Cleveland
Bay Sporthorse mare, and my old pony.

We hope that you have enjoyed the
photographs from our special day...
All the images were taken by friends and family
on the day with our cameras and their own... we
figured the best way to get some great shots
was to hand out cameras and film!!
It certainly worked!
We have a lovely collection of images now to
choose from to enlarge and frame!

We only got off the horses to sign the register and for
our photographs!  The horses of course featured in our
wedding photos with our family and friends!

Ken & Lyns Commodore provided the music for our
