| 2009 SA Police & Emergency Games On the 2nd and 3rd of May at the Metro Showjumping Grounds in Adelaide, the Equestrian section of the SAPES Games was held. |
| We took Roc On, the Perlino QH stallion down to compete in the Obstacle Course and the Novelties. |
| Roc found the Obstacle Course easy - he wasnt phased by anything at all - however the ONE time in his life with us he decided he didnt want to back up properly and hit the poles as he backed through them. |
| When the Novelties started, Roc wasnt 100% with the bending race - he was responding a bit too well to Craigs cues which caused some confusion for the pair! The Flag and Barrel Race however was a different story - they did really well there! |
| Craig and Roc were awarded a Bronze Medal for their efforts in the Flag and Barrel. The Sack Race wasnt so good for them - Roc didnt want to run too |
| close to the crazy man bouncing in the sack in front of him! And who can blame him really! Next up was the lemon race - in which Craig nearly drowned! |
