He is as you can see a VERY solid boy and is going to be quite a large horse when he finishes growing in a few years time! The photo below left shows just how broad he is across the chest even at this young age. The other two colts, Dolan and Gryphon had been given their first tie up lesson and had halters with trailing ropes put on so they learn to pull themselves up. |
| Ricky will have his halter, trailing rope and his first tie up lesson in the next couple of days. They are only allowed to have the halters and trailing ropes in the foaling yards which are as safe as they can get. |
