Sire: Billara Beersheba
Dam: Braelea Park Serendipity
DOB: 5th August 2009

Indy is our first 3/4 Cleveland Bay Filly born, and is just such
an amazing little horse.

As soon as she hit the ground and we determined she was a
filly - she was most definitely NOT on the market.   We had
discussed prior to her birth that if we got a colt - it was for sale,
if we got a filly, it was a keeper!   And a keeper is what we got!

From day one she was impressive to say the least.

We always knew she was something rather special and that
has been confirmed by her start in the show ring with the
wonderful ladies, Kath Hurrell and Nikki Chadburn from
Lyndsworth Lodge at Aldinga Beach, just south of Adelaide.

Indy is living down with them and is being shown in hand at the
moment, and the original plan was to have her come home,
have a foal, be broken in and sent back down to start a career
under saddle....The girls have other plans for her - which is
completely fine by us!  She will be becoming a 'mum' - but it
will be via Embryo Transfer, and we will endeavour to keep her
in the show ring as much as possible.

What Nikki and Kath cant do with this filly, isnt worth doing we
dont think - their level of care, turnout and training is amazing,
and we are just so thrilled with the job they are doing with her.

The 2010 Show Season was just amazing - and in January
2011, Indy was shown off to the Victorians at the
2011 Royal
Melbourne Horse Show - where she was sashed with Reserve
Champion Cleveland Bay Sporthorse as well as two firsts in
the CB ring, and a fourth in the WB ring - both rings were very
well supported and the competition was tough!

At the end of 2010, Indy has
numerous wins, placings,
Champions and Supremes to
her name.

She has received great
feedback from the judges she
has been up in front of, with
everyone complimenting her
and saying that she will be one
to watch when mature.

She has mainly competed
against adult horses, and has
taken everything in her stride.

We were absolutely thrilled
that she did so well in Victoria
at the Royal Melbourne Horse
Show in January 2011
2011 Royal Melbourne Horse Show Results:

Reserve Champion Cleveland Bay Sporthorse
1st Best Presented Cleveland Bay or Cleveland Bay
Sporthorse
1st Led Cleveland Bay Sporthorse Filly or Mare - Any Age
4th Led Warmblood Yearling Filly
Craig was unable to get over to the Royal Melbourne
Horse Show - however was thrilled as soon as he
received the phone call with the results - he was kept
updated through the day and is extremely proud of our
girl and her girls!

Indy, pictured right on the 26th March 2011 at the
2011 CBHSA AGM, was shown on the 20th of March at
the Morphett Vale Riding Club Breed & Encourage Show
in both the Warmblood and Cleveland Bay classes.
I have yet to find out the exact results for each class,
however the major placings that she received were:

Supreme Warmblood
Supreme Cleveland Bay
and was 4th in line for Supreme of the Day.

Given that Indy is still only 19 months old at this stage -
we are absolutely wrapt with her achievements, which
would not be possible without the hard work and
dedication from Kath and Nikki at Lyndsworth Lodge!
Indy is one of the horses
retained by Michelle when she
and Craig separated, however
Craig will keep updated on her
progress as she is shown and
matures.

Reigate Stud is extremely
proud to announce that CM
Independant Miss is now
officially owned by Reigate
Cleveland Bay & Sporthorse
Stud (Michelle Williams) and
Lyndsworth Lodge (Kath Hurrell
& Nikki Chadburn) with the
three of us being equal
partners!

How do you say thankyou to
such wonderful ladies for all
their efforts and a massive
Happy Birthday to Kath, and a
belated Happy Birthday to
Nikki?   Give them a horse of
course!
On the 7th of August, the Dilutes Australia 2011 Youngstock Show was
held at Roseworthy Ag College, just north of Adelaide.
There were 5 entrants in the Cleveland Bay Ring - all of them by Billara
Beersheba - a very proud moment!!!
CM Independant Miss won all 6 of the classes she was in over the two
rings she competed in for the day, and was named Champion Female
Cleveland Bay and then Supreme Cleveland Bay.
To say we were thrilled is an understatement!
She narrowly missed Supreme of the day but received some fantastic
comments from the judge - Josie Potts, who is a wealth of knowledge.
The 2011 Royal Adelaide
Show Breed Day was held on
the 20th of August at Wayville
Showgrounds.
It was a fantastic day - with
Indy winning her 2yr old and
under WB class, and going on
to take out Reserve Champion
WB Female at the show -
remember that all competing in
the WB ring are WBs of any
description!  She was Reserve
to a Ponderosa Stud mare,
who then went on to take out
Supreme WB of the show.
A brilliant effort and again
receiving some lovely
comments, this time from
judge, Gisela Nilsson-Harding.
In November 2011 the Morphett Vale Riding Club
Breed & Encourage Show was held and of course
Indy and the Lyndsworth Lodge team were there!
Entered in the Warmblood and the Cleveland Bay
Rings, Indy was a superstar with a very smart
looking Nikki on the lead!
Nikki and Indy have a special bond and the pair
are a match made in heaven!
Indy wound up with Champion Warmblood Mare or Filly, and was in
against Verondina Papaweo for Supreme, and Pappy won - which is no
disappointment placing behind him!

Papaweo is by Wetherby Alpheratz - who of course is Indys grandsire.

In the Cleveland Bay Ring - Indy took out Champion Female, and was
again against Pappy for Supreme - and Indy took out the Supreme
Cleveland Bay!

Pappy and Indy both found themselves in the running for the 'Super
Supreme' of the day as the announcer called it - and both performed
beautifully, with the high award for the day going to a very worthy rival, a
lovely Palouse Stallion!

At home, Indy has been learning about lunging with the bungee, and has
had a feel of the saddle which she has taken in her stride.

Nikki and Kath are thrilled with how she is coming along!

She will not be backed though til she is a bit older, however as she is more
than happy to be rugged, lunged, and have the roller on - she may as well
get used to the feel of the saddle.

Keep an eye out on this page for updates and news from Indys continuing
career as we enter the 2012 showing season!
January 26th, Australia Day,
2012, was the Royal Melbourne
Horse Show!  Indy headed over
with Kath, Nikki and Kirrilly, and
Kirras lovely big boy, Verondina
Papaweo (an Uncle of Indys
being Bills half brother)!  Indy
placed very well in the CB ring,
and also placed in the WB ring.
The girls were all thrilled -
Pappy took out Supreme Led
CB and the Champion Ridden!
