CONGRATULATIONS to Heather and Simon Studdy......
On the 2nd June 2007 the AWHA held a Gala Day at the Sydney International
Equestrian Centre. Heather had worked tirelessly for months and organised the
Cleveland Bay classes in the Feature Ring for the day. The AWHA kindly allowed
the Cleveland Bays to have their own ring at their show.
CM Alina Keely who we bred in early 2005 attended this show and received
Reserve Champion Led CB or CBSH Under 3 yrs.
Click

Sadly, on the 20th of August 2007
we lost our lovely grey
Thoroughbred mare,
Go Dancer Go
(known as Bindi to us).
An autopsy showed that her death
was due to tumours in her
abdominal cavity which caused a
colic.
She will be missed.
It really hasnt been our week.
On the 23rd August 2007 we lost our gorgeous
young colt, CM Bushveldt Carbineer, also
known as Kenny.
We took him to Port Augusta for Xrays after he
injured himself, and discovered he had indeed
fractured his offside foreleg (in the cannon
bone). He was euthanased on the spot and we
brought him home to be laid to rest.He was just
10 months old.

Janet, known as
GeeJay on the
Stockyard Forum did

paintings of Cullen and
Tadpole recently.  She
has kindly given
permission for me to
share her wonderful
work with you. Click

Janet, known as
GeeJay on the
Stockyard Forum,
surprised us by doing
this gorgeous painting
of our young CM
Bushveldt Carbineer
(Kenny) who we lost in
late August 2007,
THANKYOU Janet,
this was just the
loveliest thing for you
to do!
See her other lovely
paintings below!
Our condolences go to
Heather and Simon at
Yatama Stud for the loss of
the lovely CM Alina Keely
on the 17th August 2007
after an unfortunate
paddock accident. We were
very sad to learn about
Keelys passing.
In late September 2007,
Rossida, a grey TB mare
arrived on loan from Allen
Park Stud.

some more images of her!

On Friday 12th October 2007 at 7:33pm,
CM Killarnie Ceilidh gave birth to a
gorgeous black colt by Allen Park Bald
Eagle....
"CM Dolan Kearney"
He has the tiniest star and a white near
hind heel.
Click
HERE to see his birth, there is also
a link for further photos of him.
On Thursday 25th October 2007 at
approximately 4am, Billara Killari
gave birth to the gorgeous little colt
we have named CM Kiernan.
Kiernan unfortunately had a very
short life and was put to sleep as
soon as we could have it done after
herniating and there was nothing
we could do to save him.
He was as you can see a Bay and
White Tobiano colt, and was very
evenly marked on both sides.
He would have been a beautiful
horse had he the opportunity to
grow up.
We had Victor Harbor Council's
"Lockie" here for about 6 months
while we were doing some training
with him for them.  He had a fear of
camels that we helped him
overcome.  Lockie was a 'Tram
Horse' at Victor Harbor.  You can
see some photos of him here
Victor Harbor Lockie
Thursday 8th November 2007 at
1:38am, Baxters Faberge decided to
deliver her colt - we could no have put
in an order for a better colt!
As you can see he is Chestnut and
White, he is loudly marked and nicely
marked on both sides!
CM Gryphons Flight is his name and
he has been sold to Amelia Greenfield
of Pt Augusta!
We have put up a page with images
of his birth, and of him as he is
growing up, they are linked from
HERE
HERE is a collection of
photographs of some of
the horses taken on the
12th and 13th of
November 2007 just lazing
around the paddock...
We hope you enjoy the
images!
On the 12th November
2007, a lovely TB mare
named
Bao Salle joined
our broodmare herd.
She is now up on our
Breeding Stock page, or
you can just click on her
name above.
We are thrilled to announce that Tuthaside Horses in
NSW has a lovely mare who will be coming to live
with us and joining our broodmare herd in 2008.
Lady Tuthaside is a Grey Paint mare, and has had
her 2007 foal to Treena Boom Deck... She will be
heading over here once she weans her foal, is back
in foal to
Treena Boom Deck and the EI situation is
resolved and the movement of horses into South
Australia from NSW is allowed.
We are very pleased that
Tuthaside Horses has
given us the opportunity to add her to our herd!
Friday 16th November 2007 saw the
arrival of
CM Richter Scale out of
Burleigh by Allen Park Bald Eagle.
He is a HUGE colt and is a lovely
fellow!
We have put up a page with images
of his birth, and of him as he is
growing up, they are linked from

Saturday 24th November 2007 we
moved Ricky and Gryphon and their
mums over to the paddock with Dolan
and Ceilidh...
Wasnt a terribly 'exciting' day
photographically, however there are a
few shots of the girls and kids
HERE
if you would like to have a look! :-)
Wednesday 28th November 2007 I decided to go sit in the paddock and talk to
the foals for a while... Its been so hot over the last few days, so they havent
been terribly active in daylight hours.... I had a nice little chat with them anyhow,
and
HERE are a few shots if you are interested in having a look!
We also took some photos of the
foals having a bit of a run around
and a play...
HERE are a few shots
if you are interested in having a
