| Our friend Linda is staying with us for a week and was hoping to see a foal born. She came in and said "Lady is laying down - is that normal" - and after finding out that no, she wasnt grunting or anything, I said "Yes, thats fine" |
| Linda wandered back out into the yard again and then came running in and said "Shes having a foal!". We had checked Ladys udder earlier in the day and she didnt look like she was quite ready to pop! Obviously we were wrong! Linda of course is thrilled that she got to see a baby born! We are thrilled that she is on the ground safely and is a lovely strong healthy filly! |
| Lady doesnt mind Legs getting attention from us at all, and Legs is a friendly little girl and very inquisitive. She took a little while to get the hang of her long long legs, but once she did, there was no stopping her! She is going to be quite tall - we think she will end up around the 15.3 - 16hh mark going by the size of her at the moment. Below you can see Linda having a bit of a pat with Legs. |
