| Jack has the sweetest little face on him. He is really alert (ok, when he's not snoozing!) and has to look at whatever Craig or I are doing. Tomorrow he will meet Frog the Dog weather permitting. Below left is Jenni - who is his Auntie - as is Dusty.... being that their dad, Billara Beersheba, is Jacks half brother! | 10th November 2008 CM Commanding Miss, CM Silver Serenade & CM Brigadier Royston. Photos of our youngsters to share with you. Also Chloe the Calf who spends most of her time in the paddock with them. Dusty (Silver Serenade) is pictured below at a couple of days short of 2 months old. She is a lovely girl and is extremely inquisitive of all that is going on. She is a little annoyed that Killari wont let her go and talk to Jack (Brigadier Royston) just yet. |
| Jack is 3 days old in these photographs, so still needs to 'unscrunch' a little more, but he is looking really nice. He has a lovely deep girth on him and a great set of legs on him with large joints that indicate he is going to be quite large! He isnt eating his mothers feed but is mouthing at it and dropping it out again copying her. When he got sick of doing that he lay in her hay and she was eating around him. The camera battery died on me though so I didnt get a shot of him asleep in her hay. Killari was pulling faces at Jenni (Commanding Miss) and Dusty who wanted to keep going over to talk to Jack. Killaris faces that she pulls can be pretty scarey looking - there isnt anything behind them, its all bluff! |

| At left is Chloe's Star - a 17hh TB broodmare who is in our herd for a season... She is a lovely big girl and is just recovering from a snake bite and systemic laminitis. The poor girl, she lost a little weight with it, but is bouncing back and is still as sweet as ever. She has a gorgeous personality and should produce a beautiful foal to CM Oberon Toblerone. She is in with Rossida and her baby - Dusty, Killari and her kid - Jack, and Jenni - who is almost a yearling! She gets along with anyone and everyone, and of course Chloe the calf is in with them as well. Though she lets herself in and out of the paddock at times! |
