The Foals!
Sunday 17th February 2008
The foals are all growing
beautifully... We managed to
take some shots of all of them
and here are a selection of
images for you.
CM Commanding Miss (Jenni)
is our youngest one at the
moment, being a little over a
month old.  She is adorable!
CM Richter Scale (Ricky), was 3 months
old on the 16th, and as you can see is
quite a BIG solid boy!
Baxters Faberge (Folly), pictured below, is looking
fabulous at the moment.  She is 19, coming up 20 this
year... She holds her condition beautifully and is a great
mum.  She has the sweetest nature and is a pleasure to
have in the broodmare herd!
Mrs Edd and her foal are visiting while
Mrs Edd gets served by Baldy, She is a
big roomy mare who produces beautiful
foals.  Her 2006 foal was by our TB
stallion.
Mrs Edd's colt will be going to live in
Adelaide soon...In the meantime he is
busy playing with CM Gryphon's Flight
(Gryph)... They have a ball together!
Gryphon may be 'little' and 'petite' at
the moment, but it doesnt make him
'small' in personality!
He is a rather active young fellow as
you can see and loves nothing more
than a good hoon around and a
bounce.
Mrs Edd's owner wanted the halter left
on the colt when they were dropped
off here.  Gryphon has broken it by
pulling on it as you can see if you look
closely at the photos.
We dont leave headcollars on our
foals out in the paddocks as a general
rule.... only in the foaling yards.
Gryph is
growing
beautifully as
you can see...
He is a lovely
fellow and we
cant wait to
see him all
grown up in a
few years time!
Um.... Can someone PLEASE tell
Ceilidh (above) that shes not due
to pop out her foal til November
23rd, she looks like she could pop
one out tomorrow.  Cutie is due
September 9th (pictured left), and
shes looking rather 'round' as well!
CM Dolan Kearney (above and below) is growing
really nicely... apart from not making up his mind
exactly what colour he is going to be just yet, he is
looking great.  He is not phased at all by me picking
up his feet in the paddock while he is loose!
He likes to
hang out with
Killari for the
most part
these days, or
us... hes
difficult to get
photos of,
because as
you can see
he just keeps
approaching
the camera...
Hes taken to
pulling on my
bra strap too!
The photo at left was
just a fluke that I got it,
he decided to have a
bit of a run around and
a play, and I thought he
was coming for ME, but
he ducked around to
the side!  Lucky for
HIM...
Killari - at right - is also
due on the 23rd
November... yet she
looks like she could
foal anytime soon! lol...
