| The Kids!... The photos on this page were taken over a couple of days... The photographs of Jenni (right) and Ricky (below) were taken on the 10th February 2008 when our friends from Pt Lincoln, Yolande and Tim, were up visiting for the day. Yol kindly took the pics of Ricky having his feet trimmed, and took a couple of Jenni at the same time. |
| Ricky was such a good boy. His leading, feet picking up etc are really coming along well. He loves nothing more than a lovely big scratch. He doesnt mind where you touch him as long as you give him a good scratching at the same time... He pulls faces and the top lip stretches out and he just laps it up! In the photo below left of Mandy with Jenni, and Ricky in the background having his feet done, you can see at the top left of the photo, the 4 horses over in Bills paddock were watching on... Salle, Maj, Bill and Rossida were wondering why THEY werent getting attentinon! |
| Ricky is a SOLID boy... Hes quite tall and is growing into quite a huge boy. He is very broad across the butt, and I think he will have a backside to rival Burleighs when hes fully grown! He is also very broad across the shoulders. For someone wanting a BIG solid horse, he is certainly going to be that! Below is Salle, Maj, Bill and Rossida from left to right... Maj has taken over as the boss in the paddock, Salle comes in second, then Bill, and Rossida is the bottom of the pecking order. Until Maj went in, Salle was top dog... however Maj quickly sorted that out! |

| The jury is still out on exactly what colour Dolan is going to end up...We would have sworn he was going to be black when he was born... as his foal coat shed out hes gone a dark brown, which has now bleached in the sun... however where hes had little bits of hair off, his hair has come back BLACK BLACK BLACK... So we have given up on guessing with him and will wait to see how he sheds out next summer! Black or Brown, he is a lovely foal! |
| Above is Dolan harassing the lovely Killari... He spends 90% of his time with her these days... He has essentially forgotten his own mother for the most part! Above right is Cutie... she is in with Dolan, Ceilidh and Killari now, and Dolan also likes to go and chat with her. Right is Gryphon, who is over the laneway with his mother, Folly, his sire, Baldy, and two other mares and a foal who are visiting to be served by Baldy. Below Left and Right is the lovely Cutie again... we can't wait to see her foal! |
| Above and below is the lovely Folly... Gryphons mum... She is such a sweet mare, a little opinionated at times, but is basically a very lovely girl who you can do anything with! |
