| Dolan, Gryphon & Ricky... 1st January 2008 The first day of 2008 was a stinking hot day... we were not impressed and neither were the horses! When we popped over to see how they were in the evening, we found Ricky had somehow got himself on the wrong side of the fence and was in the laneway. |
| "Hey Dolan, I think Im on the wrong side of the gate! HELP ME!!"... He obviously didnt run around too much by the lack of hoof prints up and down the lane, and lack of sweat on him, but going by the poop down his back legs, he did stress himself out a bit. |
| Above is Dolan - He is slowly losing his foal fluff... He is actually a Black Brown rather than a true black by the look of him under that fluff. Right is Burleigh... Rickys mum. |
| Above is Burleigh and the three kids... Right is Gryphon - he is growing nicely... he is still very petite compared to the other two - who are built like tanks! Below is Ricky... He is VERY chunky! Below Left is Gryphon and Dolan having a bit of a chat... |
| Dolan was being very friendly as usual... Unfortunately when he was REALLY talking to me, I had the camera and couldnt get shots... He loves scratches and pats. |
| He was quite happy with me picking both his front legs up and stretching them out in front, and holding them up for some time. Playing with them like this helps in their training. |
| Even while having a drink he still has his eye on what you are doing! Left is Ceilidhs beautiful head... Dolan certainly has inherited her face shape and her lovely nature. |
| Above is Dolan about to have a chew on Gryphon's back!!! He certainly is a cheeky one! Above Right is Gryphons sweet face, and at Right is Follys lovely face. Perhaps not the most flattering shot of her, but she has the nicest eye! Below is Ricky... you can see just how solid he is!! |

| Far Left is Killari - she is the mare who had Kiernan who herniated and we had to put him down... She is now in the paddock with the mares and foals and has become a surrogate mum to them. Left is Ricky once again. |
| The mares seem to have taken on raising the foals as a 'group effort'. It is not unusual to see Gryphon and Ricky down the bottom of the paddock with Ceilidh and Killari, and Dolan up the top with Folly and Burleigh... Dolan gets cheeky every now and then and tries to sneak a drink from Folly or Burleigh, but they soon tell him off with a glare and a stomp of the hind leg!
