| He is at the stage where he wants to venture a little further from mum than she is prepared to let him... which means she is constantly chasing him around the place! |
| Today we opened the gate between the two foaling yards and let the mares and foals mingle... Gryph wanted to say hello to Ricky, and the photo below is as close as they got - Folly and Burleigh separated them right after it was taken!! You can see that Ricky (on the right) is a lot bigger than his half brother Gryph - Gryph is 9 days old in the photo, Ricky is just 1 day old! Ricky is going to be HUGE when he finishes growing in a few years time! Over the next few days we imagine that the girls will let the babies have a good chat to each other and I look forward to getting some photos of them playing! |
