CM Silver Serenade
"Dusty"
The photos on this page were
taken on the 30th September
2008.
She has been out in the paddock
for a few days now with her mum
Rossida and is enjoying it
thoroughly.
She is quite a cheeky young miss
as you can see in the photo at
right.
She comes up and has a look at
what Craig or I are doing and has
to know whats going on!
When you have an itch you
have to become a contortionist
to get at it at times!
Having a little snooze above and below. Left
you can see how straight her hind legs are!
Hoon Time!  Dusty loves nothing
more than to hit top gear!
Below you can see Dusty and Rossida in 'syncronised hooning' mode!
Dusty, although in these photos is
sticking close to mum, is normally
off exploring by herself, or if the
mares are eating (Cutie is in with
them at the moment - still waiting
to have her baby!!) and she
wants to play, she goes off at 100
miles an hour around the paddock
bucking and bouncing!  Its
hillarious to watch!
She is a beautifully put
together young lady, and we
are very pleased with her.
Rossida will be going back to
Bill for a repeat of her we hope!
She is 18 days old in these
photographs and has unfolded
and filled out nicely.
She loves shuffling through
her mums feed and making a
mess!
If anyone can give us the 'technical' name
for these movements, we would be most
appreciative!
Below she is trying to undo the rope on
the flag pole!
Dusty is very good at bouncing as
you can see.... she thinks shes a
'Tigger'...
The tree in the
photograph above is the
one that Dusty has been
trying to climb for the last
few days.
I have no idea what she
thinks she is going to do if
she succeeds, but she
has had both her front
hooves about 10 inches
up the trunk of it a few
times that we have
seen!We think shes been
watching the cats or the
goats!
She has a lovely broad chest as you
can see, and in the photo above left,
while its not a particularly good
photograph, certainly shows off how
straight she is!  She has lovely legs.
She still has no grey around her eyes,
eyelashes or muzzle that is obvious,
however she does have all that grey
flecking through her body and up her
legs.  She will be an interesting one to
watch how she goes with her
colouring and how long she takes to
grey out!
