| CM Silver Serenade The shots on this page were taken on the 18th September 2008 of Dusty and her mum Rossida... Miriam was up visiting and was having a little chat with Dusty through the fence. She came up, and went to sniff Miriam and she made a kissing noise - you can see below, Dusty jumped! |
| Dusty is getting more and more inquisitive every day. Her mum gets frustrated at her annoying her at times. |
| She isnt really 'eating' (at just 6 days old) but she is mouthing at everything and copying mum. It wont be long before shes hoeing into her mums mix! In the photo below you can see just how big the second foaling yard is - there is still some of it behind where I was sitting to take the shot. |
| The yard that is our main foaling yard is the one that is surrounded by the rubber belting in the background - you can see Cutie in there at the moment waiting to have her foal! Dusty found her canter button today - but couldnt find the "off" switch! |
| Dusty and Rossida will go out into the big paddock out the back in the next week or so weather permitting. Dusty has lovely straight legs, and just floats along the ground when she moves. She likes to know what is going on at all times, and everything is a toy! |
| She has the most gorgeous little face on her, and I just love the shot below of her. She has filled out nicely over the last few days and is no longer looking all scrunched up as she has done in the last lot of photographs taken of her. It will be very exciting to see her grow and grey out. I would like to think she will grey out at the rate that Rossida has greyed out, and will have dark points for a number of years. |
| If she goes grey all in one hit though, we wont be disappointed either. She has a lovely length of rein, and she should mature into a well balanced filly. She would suit any discipline in the future we think, so it will be interesting to see what she ends |
| up doing with her future owner. She is certainly a little character! Ashlee who is pictured with her at right is 13 yrs old and comes up to help us out a little with the horses and to have lessons on her pony, Honey. She was kicking the soccer balls around the yard tonight and it wasnt bothering Dusty in the least! |
