Tap'n'Gate Squirtillini
Squirt
DOB: 19th Sept. 2009
Howdy!  My name is Squirt... I
am a Miniature Fox Terrorist, I
mean Terrier, and I was bred
by Brian and Tanya at
Balaklava.  In November 2009
when Mum and my old Dad
were down visiting them,
Tanya and Brian convinced
Mum that she NEEDED to
take a puppy home... and I
was the one she picked out!
Im pretty special!!  My old
Dad says Im
"VERY" special -
I dont quite know what he
means by that though.....
In the picture at top left, I am hiding under my mum, Pig's back
leg... I was a bit shy.   That was taken the day we were born by
Tanya!  In the photo above, I am the one at the bottom left of
the image.  I was three days old there.
In the photo above, I am the one at the bottom right hand
side - with my tail sticking straight out!  This is a pic of me
with my brothers and sister out of Pig (my mum) and by my
dad, Spud, out of Roxy, another girl that Brian and Tanya
have.
At right, I am having a snuggle with Brian.  I was quite
relaxed here as you can see!
Below is a photo of my doggy mum and dad - Pig (the black
and white) and Spud (the tan and white).  Arent they lovely?
Mum picked me out and took me home on the 13th November
2009.
I hadnt been for a car ride before, but I was really good and
snuggled into mums lap and chest the whole way home.
When we got to my new home at Minnipa, I was introduced to
the kittens who were a day younger than me.
Below you can see me with OB1 and Delli, and at right I was
snuggled up to Delli and a very Nortie Tortie!
I still play with my puddy tat friends, though when I think they
are starting to 'win' our play fights, I sit on their heads and
hold them down. Hehe.... only problem there is that they use
their claws and teeth... That doesnt impress me greatly, but
then I guess me sitting on their heads doesnt impress them!
I have my own bed, and I am
supposed to sleep in it next to
Mum and my old Dads bed...
but I used to just climb up and
sleep on THEIR bed.... Mum
doesnt mind, but my old Dad
wasn't impressed cos I quite
often got some energy in the
middle of the night and did
laps around the house, and
took running jumps and landed
on him.  He kept saying
something about putting me
through a paper shredder if Im
not careful... I dont quite know
what a paper shredder is, but I
dont think its good for me!
I WAS nice and
clean as you can
see in the photos
above, but then I
discovered mud....
Mud, Glorious Mud!
How I love the
stuff... Did you
know if you get lots
of mud on you, it
gives you super
powers and you
can take on the
Sleepy Lizards???
Well, it does, so I
recommend you go
roll in some mud
and give it a go!!
It gives you super
fast reflexes and
the best part is, you
can go jump on the
bed and leave your
mark!
Above left, you can see me and Frog Dog... RIP
Froggy... he was a really good friend to me.  He put up
with me more than any other dog would have Im sure.
He had cancer and died :(
I love running around and jumping over stuff, and
have figured out how to get up onto the kitchen
table - which does NOT impress mum.
These pics of me
were taken on the
31st May 2010.
Here is the
last photo of
Frog Dog that
mum took.
He died on
the 14th June
- so two
weeks after
this pic was
taken.  I really
miss him, and
so do mum
and dad.
Right: I am
with Brenna
and Millie
Above I am checking that Mum, and my old Dad did a good job fixing
up some of the jumps out at Tcharkulda so that horses could go over
them safely.
That day, I ran lots and lots, and kept up with the big dogs when they
were driving around fixing jumps and taking photos.
When we got home, I still had energy to chase the goats and sheep.
Mum doesnt know where I get my energy from.
As you can see at left, I am wearing one of the collars that were
bought for me - this one has a bow and a bell on it, there are a couple
of others with bling and pink fluffy stuff on them - I will model them
soon for you and get mum to put some pics up here for you to see.
My old Dad reckoned with the pink fluffy one I will look like Paris
Hilton!  I dont think Im quite that 'blonde' though!!
I helped mum do my web page, I had to make sure she put stuff in the
right place and said what I asked her to say (I cant type - I dont have
thumbs and my 'fingers' are too close together!
Do you like my pretty collars?
I like them a lot and like to
switch them around!
We are NOT amused.... there is a cat on the bed.... a kitten
infact.... its cute (dont tell anyone I said that)... It may take some
of the attention away from me.  I am a little concerned it may be
cuter than me in some wierd cat like way.  I wonder if I can eat it?
Or at least make it squeak?  No?  Mum might kick my furry little
butt if I do.... darn it, will have to make friends with it.....
That kitten (named Mouse Trap - Trapper for
short) is going to get me in trouble... Hes chewing
mums Camera/Computer cable... Shouldnt do
that stupid kitten, I mean cute kitten....
Below is a pic of me and mum and that dratted
kitten in between us.... I knew he was trouble...
Here are some pics
of me that mum
took on the 4th July
2010.  I am playing
on the pile of rocks
and broken bricks
that my old Dad
was shifting up at
the new property
and mum started
out helping but ran
out of steam so had
to sit in the car and
watch.. I was having
a ball, I ran all over
the place, climbed
over everything and
generally made a
'pest of myself'
according to my old
Dad... I dont quite
know what he
means by that, but
Im sure its not
completely polite!
On the 8th of January 2011, Mum and my old Dad had to go out to a
friends place up at Wirrulla.... when they came home, they brought
another addition to the family... a purebred Jack Russell.   He is VERY
cute, and I can beat the daylights out of him now, but at first, he was
growling at me and I have to say, I was a little concerned...
His name is Shamrock, or
Rocky for short.   I have
to admit hes pretty cute,
and he does get himself
in a bit of trouble - for
example - see him
chewing on the Salsa
jar??   Probably a DUMB
move - cos that stuff is
quite spicey.   I will agree
with him that the Doritos
that go with it are really
yummy!
I find that the thing that I do to the cats works well on Rocky too.... I sit on his head when
he goes to bite my backside!   Only problem is, he wiggles out easier than the cats!
Now that Mum and Dad live in separate houses,
so do me and Rocky.    I dont get to see him
these days very often, but I hear he is doing well.
Its a bit wierd being from a 'broken home' - but I
suppose there are a lot of 'fur kids' out there who
are in a similar situation.
It does mean that I get to spend more time with
Mum, and I love that.  She takes me lots of places
and I love going out and seeing things!
I have a new 'sister' -
Tessa - a gorgeous Kelpie!
You know, I dont quite get it - I am so friendly towards everyone but it seems
that not everyone appreciates me.... I dont know why that is....
I tried to say hello to Waffles, Maxy and Arthur - and then Waffles chased
me....  I didnt think that was very appropriate, but hey, who am I to argue with a
peeved off shetland pony?!
We have three orange kitties in the house - the little one I was trying to play
with hissed at me, even after I tried to cuddle her, so I sat on her instead....
That'll teach her!  HAH!
I tried to have a civil conversation with Mabel - and she
shook her head at me - so I yapped at her - which
apparently doesnt go down well with her - cos she chased
me!   I thought she was gonna get me!  COW!
Then I went to say Hello to Winky-Wonky - hes pretty cool -
but apparently he doesnt like little dogs either... sigh...
Even Stevie and Sox, the goats, didnt want to have a
conversation with me... Im beginning to think they are all
ganging up on
me....
Oh well, Im pretty
happy about
everything all the
time - and these
days I get to
sleep in the bed
with mum every
night, and get lots
of human food - I
give mum those
'puppy dog eyes'
every time she
has a meal!
Heheheh....
