CM CULLEN EACHAN

A few words from Michelle Ott about her
dealings with us in the purchase of
Cullen:
My special thanks goes to Craig and Michelle
at CM Sporthorses.
As you know my new colt arrived on Sunday
3/6/07 very early at 6am.  Unfortunately I
wasnt able to get there to witness him getting
off the horse transport truck.  However as
soon as I got there I was pretty chuffed to
finally see him in person for the first time in
his 8 months.
My apologies for the first photo - it was taken
off the phone - the very first photo of me and
Cullen!
I cant quite believe my luck, as he is
everything I had hoped for - an absoloute
bargain buy!
I took a risk buying him sight unseen from SA,
knowing its so far from where I am in
Queensland, but so far so good!  Thankyou
for breeding such a lovely quality superstar!
You kept me up to date with photos, emails
and whatnot to keep me posted on what was
happening with him and how he was growing
up from birth to weaning, and then leaving
SA.  You even suggested the horse
transporter and the insurance company!
Everyone seems to comment on his lovely
conformation especially his front end and his
overall health.  The thing is, I cant believe just
how fast he is growing up!  He is already just
over 14.2hh at 12 months old!
I would like to say thankyou to you both for
entrusting me to buy him, for negotiating a
price that suited both of us and also helping
me with phone calls and emails during his
transportation to Queensland.
I must say you were both pleasant to deal with
and I would have no hesitation in coming back
to buy your stock again in the near future!
Again, thankyou for selling me this wonderful
little horse.
Once again, Thankyou!
Regards, Michelle Ott,
Queensland

updated with how he is
growing and what he is
doing!
The photograph at right

the
2nd February

.  He is aged 16
months old exactly.
The horse he is
standing next to is
16.3hh so that gives
you some idea of his
size.  He is looking
fantastic!
11th May 2008 Update!
Cullen is pictured here on Mothers Day...
The very clever lad managed to send me an
email for Mothers Day as well!!! How nice of
Michelle Ott (his new mum) to allow him to
use her computer.... I'm sure her keyboard
needed replacing after he tap danced on it
with his hooves!
He is growing beautifully, and Michelle is
doing a fantastic job with him!
Left and Below: Cullen in November

- just over 2 yrs old and looking
magnificent!  Michelle is doing a
fabulous job with him and loves him to
bits!

June 2009 - Cullen is at the
breakers and is going really
well with his training and has
taken to everything like a
duck to water - which is kind
of good as its been raining a
LOT since he has been there!

Cullen isnt
bothered at all
about the flag
being draped
over him as you
can see.
He has grown
beautifully and we
are just so thrilled
for Michelle that
he is turning out
as he is!
Michelle's first ride of
Cullen on the 26th June
09 was such a thrill for
her.... and then again
on the 29th (right and
below).
On the 30th June
Michelle and her
trainer went out for a
Trail ride.
Michelle had a blast -
Cullen grew about a
hand when he saw
something a bit
different but was fine
once he had a good
look.  We are so
pleased for Michelle.
Youngstock we have bred and sold at CM Sporthorses!

KEELY
These photos were
taken in November
2006 of Keely aged
22 months. Heather
is thrilled with Keely
and her young
daughters (2 & 3
yrs old) can wander
in and cuddle her.
The girls are
arguing over 'whose
horse' she is!
In June 2007 Keely received Reserve Champion
Cleveland Bay at the AWHA Gala Day.
Keely is a much loved family member.

Update: Keely was put to sleep on the 17th August
2007 after a tragic paddock accident.
Our condolences to Heather and Simon on their
loss.
CM ANNA KARENINA

May 2007
Anna has been broken in
and is being lightly worked as
she was being a right royal
pain in the butt not having
anything to focus on!
Debbie is thrilled with her
progress and you can see
Debbie on board here in
these two photographs of
Anna looking nice and
relaxed and going kindly.
Some quotes from Debbie about Anna:
'I am soooo pleased with her - she is a champ!'
'Very, very happy with how she has come along'
'Gary (her breaker) reckons she will be a ripper eventer. She is so
bold up the roads and up and down the embankments and over
logs.  Not worried about the break horse being with her and
perfectly happy to trot off on her own.'
'Of course you can tell Im absoloutly over the moon and still
buzzing!'

Left is a photograph of Anna taken in January 2008, nearly 3 years
old.
She is looking fantastic and is a real credit to Debbie!
She is going off again shortly to have a refresher with her breaker
and then will begin work with Debbie.
She has really filled out nicely and we are really pleased with how
she has grown up.
Anna ventured back to Gary, the trainers, on February 16th 2008 for a week or two.  Gary was very pleased with her
- she had basically been turned out since being broken in to allow her to grow up, but still been handled on the ground
all the way through....
Debbie is thrilled with Annas progress, and she has been out along the road with a friend on her horse, and the only
thing Anna did was try to steal an apple off a tree as they went past!
Typical - thinking of her stomach!
Anna was ridden in a dressage saddle for the first time on March 10th, and went beautifully...
Update: Debbie and her husband Paul lost their house, stables, float etc in the Victorian Bushfires in 2009.  The
horses are safe and thankfully they are ok as well.

CM STAABURST
Bobby sold at just 6 days old and headed
off to WA with his new owner, Fe
Williams, when she and her family moved
- which happened to be timed perfectly
as he had just been weaned!
He travelled like an old pro and Fe is
very happy with him.  He has now been
gelded - aged 17 months at left and right.
Update:  Due to a change in
circumstances, Fe sold Bobby, he was
sold once again, and then finally went to
a lady by the name of Sue Conte in
Western Australia who owns him now.
Sue has turned
him out to grow a
little more before
having him broken
in later in 2009.
She is thrilled with
Bobby and says he
is just the loveliest
horse.
Fe has said if Sue
ever wants to sell
him, she would
love the
opportunity to buy
him back!

CM STAASTRUCK
Tadpole  sold at 13 days old to Donna Franceschi, a WA Showjumping
home!
Update: March 2008 - Tadpole apparently eats "Just Right" off a
spoon and out of Donnas bowl, and has even worn pink ribbons in his
mane, glittery eyeshadow and lipstick!  And she wonders why he sat
down like a dog and squealed at her! lol...
I think someone is spoilt rotten and loves it!
Update: April 2008 - Photo at right was taken on the 22nd April 2008.
Taddy had an underdeveloped caecum and wasnt processing his food
as well as he should have been.  He is however now starting to fill out a
litle more and Jennie and Donna are expecting that come springtime he
will just bloom.
He is quite tall and is looking like a lovely young horse.
He is a cheeky little man who loves attention and often gets himself into
trouble apparently!
Donna is constantly telling us what he gets up to!
It sounds like they are a perfect match for each other and will do well in
the future!
Above you can see Tadpole in early August
2008 after a grooming session, and at left,
his first time ever freejumping late
August 08.
Above and Right: Tadpole in
May 2009 - looking lovely!
Above and Centre: Tadpole in
July 2009 - at Pullgaroo Station for breaking in with
GeeJay Sport Horses' Graeme and Janet.
Graeme Newton and Janet Winter from Geejay Sport Horses at Pullgaroo Station, Paynes Find in Western Australia
are breaking Tadpole in for Donna and Jennie Francheschi.  Taddy went to Pullgaroo Station in July 2009, and these
images of Graeme riding him were taken in
August 2009.
He has taken the whole process pretty well and is going nicely according to Janet.
He is meeting all sorts of things such as goats, big scarey signs, and general station life!

CM MIDNIGHT
MOONLIGHT
"Legs" has been sold fairly locally to
us - she has gone to live with her
new 'mum' Kathy McFarlane at
Wirrulla.
Kathy is having a ball with her at the
moment, however thinks shes a bit
'boring' because she knows
everything already and hasnt reacted
badly to anything she has done with
her, so feels a little redundant in
training her!  Kathy is planning on
using her for an all round horse when
shes grown up and doing a little in
hand showing in the meantime.
Legs is enjoying life up at Wirrulla, and Kathy says that she just takes
everything in her stride, her mare, Jess, still doesnt like her, but the gelding,
PJ is her best buddy.   Legs is pictured above with her mum, Lady
Tuthaside, and at right up at Kathys in her round yard.
Legs is back for a warranty job as we have
been calling it!  Kathy and Gary were away
and Legs injured herself, so we did the run
up to Wirrulla to collect her and bring her
home to treat her.
She is looking fantastic, and thankfully her
wound was not as bad as we first thought.
Kathy and Gary were most relieved when
they got home from their travels.
These photos of Legs were taken on the
15th January 2010.
She is pictured above with her dam, Lady
Tuthaside.   You can see shes not far off
Ladys height now!
We were up at Wirrulla visiting Gary and Kathy on
the 12th March 2010, and took some photographs
of Legs to share with you all.
She is growing beautifullly as you can see and we
couldnt be happier with the home she has!
Far Right: You can see Legs'
wound on the 12th March 2010,
2 months after she did the injury,
well on its way to healing.  It still
needs to flatten out a little, but is
looking great so far.   We are all
rather pleased with it.

CM DOLAN KEARNEY
Sold to Vicki Brzezniak of Adelaide, South Australia, he will
be doing dressage when hes grown up!
Dolan left here early hours of the 28th March 2008 and
has arrived at Vickis.  She is completely in love with
him already, however is considering giving him a
middle name of  'Houdini' as he broke out of his
paddock and into the paddock of another horse on his
first night!  Cheeky monkey that he is!
9th May 2008 Update:
We visited Dolan and Vicki just south of
Adelaide, and took quite a few
photographs of the boy!
Click
HERE to see him on that date!
May 2009 Update:
Dolan has been doing really well - he has been out to a
couple of shows in the led classes and has done well at
both of them - winning both of his classes and ending up
Reserve Champion at one of them!  Well done to Vicki
and Dolan!!!
The surrounding
photographs were taken on
the 27th December 2009.
Vicki is thrilled with Dolan
and has taught him to lay
down, bow, count and is
looking for new things to
teach him.
He is very food orientated
so will do anything for a
carrot!
He is pictured here as an
almost 2 1/2 yr old, and lets
Vicki do anything she wants
with him at all.
Cant wait to see him out
there under saddle in the
not too distant future!
He is looking fabulous and
is a credit to Vickis care!
CM GRYPHON'S FLIGHT
Gryphon is by Allen Park Bald Eagle out of our
Hanoverian mare, Baxters Faberge. Gryph was
sold to Ameilia Greenfield of Pt Augusta.  Mia
was the one who named him - she wasnt keen
on the paddock name we had given him, so we
said 'pick a name!' and being that she is
engrossed with fantasy things, she chose his
name!
It really suits him, and he is a cheeky little rabbit.
Amelia and her mum Lynn came over a couple
of times to see Gryph as he was growing up
here with us.
When he was nearly a year old he left home to
go and live with Mia full time, and we visited him
on his first birthday - Click
HERE to see the pics
from that day!
He is growing beautifully and Mia has been kept
entertained by his antics.  He has now gone 'out
paddock' to grow for a while.
Gryphon isnt
afraid of
anything at all,
he is quite
happy to wander
over the little
'bridge' and
picks up cones,
hula hoops,
bags, and
whatever else he
can get hold of
and runs off with
them!
December 2009 Update - Gryphon has been brought back in from the paddock and has grown quite a bit.  He is about
to get a rude awakening and be put into light work and taught all about the show ring in hand!
CM BRIETTA CARLIN
Carli is a half sister to "Magpie",
the black and white showjumping
superstar by Allen Park Bald
Eagle!
She is also a half sister to our CM
Cullen Eachan, and a full sister to
CM Alina Keely and CM Dolan
Kearney.
She has been sold to
Freya d'Espeisses in Western
Australia.  Freya is planning on
taking her out eventing in the
future.
Here are a few pics of Carli
shortly after arrival in WA.
"Yeeha!" a little buck!!!
Congratulations Freya and Carli!!!

On the 10th of October 2009, Carli
had her first outing.

She was entered into the Warmblood
and Pinto rings at the Waroona Ag
Show in Western Australia.

Her results are:

Warmblood Ring:
2nd in Best Presented
3rd Filly or Mare of Any Age

Pinto Ring:
3rd Filly 3 years and Under.
CM BRIGADIER ROYSTON
Jack is a strapping young lad who should grow to around
the 15.3 - 16hh mark - though he does have taller
ancestors in his bloodlines.  Jack would suit any
discipline, and is a half brother to "Magpie", the black and
white showjumping superstar by Allen Park Bald Eagle!
He is also a half brother to our CBSH stallion - Billara
Beersheba.
SOLD to Alex Story, WA
Alex just loves Jack and is thrilled with
him so far!
Jack travelled across to Western Australia and coped really well with the trip - he loaded himself onto the truck when he
left South Australia!  Might have had something to do with the fact that his half sister CM Brietta Carlin was in the truck
already and there was food in his feed tub in the truck - he had seen Carli eating hers and decided it was a good idea!
Upon arrival in Western Australia, there was a slight mixup - with TWO CM horses on the truck, they arrived to deliver
a weanling to Alex, however Carli got off the truck.  Alex, thinking it was Craig playing a joke on her (he had said he was
going to tell the truck drivers to tell her that he was on there when they left, and hes gone now!), laughed and asked
where Jack was - as the truck drivers were hopping back in and were about to leave....
It turned out that Jack was back in Perth waiting to head down south to Freyas place - so poor Alex had to wait patiently
while Carli was returned and Jack was collected and brought down to her!
Jack has made Alex fall in love with him even more than she was in the photos she had seen of him since birth!
Alex took Jack to the beach one day with a group of
other people from the Stockyard Forum that we 'met'
Alex through.   Jack was a champ and just loved the
water apparently!
CM Silver Serenade
Dusty hasnt gone too far from home - Congrats
to Jo who is her new owner here in Minnipa.
Dusty will be staying at our place for a while.
We are thrilled for Jo and Dusty, as Jo has loved
Dusty since she was born and loved her dam,
Rossida as well.
We will keep you posted with pics of Jo and Dusty
as we take them!
Jo got a big surprise as her husband decided to
get Dusty for her birthday which is on the 17th of
July.  Shes a couple of weeks early, but hey, I
dont think Jo is terribly worried about that for
some reason!
You can see the grin on her face here on the 6th
Dusty and Jo are pictured above Left and Right on the 1st of September 2009.
Jo is concentrating on just brushing her all over at the moment and is finding her really easy to do everything with.  She
is not phased by much at all and Jo is really happy with her.
She is currently sharing a paddock with Jenni, Wings until she goes to her new home, and Jos new horse "Rain" - a
Thoroughbred mare. - Jo was getting desperate for a horse to ride until Dusty has grown up!  She plans on being able
to ride Rain out and lead Dusty alongside her in the near future.
of July 2009.
Excuse the mud all
over Dusty - its
been unusually
wet here, and
there is no point
bathing them til
the weather warms
up a bit and the
ground dries out!
Jo is going to be
spending time
getting to know
Dusty.
CM Sorta Sassy

Sassy left us on the 16th of
July 2009 to head over to
Arlene Sheen in Victoria to
do some showing in hand
until she is older.
You can see her here a
couple of days after arrival
hassling Arlenes lovely big
CBSH mare, Wendee.
Arlene is patiently waiting for
Caylie (a mare we got from Arlene
originally) to have a foal to CM
Oberon Toblerone, so in the
meantime is going to play with this
little girl and get her out there!
We wish Arlene all the luck with
her, and are sure that she will
have a great relationship with
Sassy as she is such a sweet little
girl!
She is only going to be Galloway
sized, and will suit someone after
a smaller Cleveland Bay
Sporthorse in the future.  Being
Part Arabian and Part Welsh, this
gives her extra classes to be
shown in as well!
We will update you on her
progress as it happens!
Sassy is pictured in the surrounding photos in
October 2009.  She is still obsessed by cats!
CM Mighty Wings
Wings has gone to Balaklava
to Brian and Tanya Riddle,
whose son Adrian has already
bought three youngsters from
Allen Park Stud via us.  A
showjumping family is exactly
what Wings was destined to
join, and she certainly has with
the Riddles!!! We wish them
all the luck in the world with
her, and will keep you updated
on her progress!
The Riddles also have CM
Burnt In Gold at the moment
on loan and plan on
showjumping him.
