CM Gryphon's Flight - 2007 Season Gelding
Amelia wasnt real keen on the paddock name we
had given him, so we said 'pick a name!' and
being that she is engrossed with fantasy things,
she chose his name - Gryphon's Flight!
It really suits him, and he is a cheeky little rabbit.
Amelia and her mum Lynn came over a couple of
times to see Gryph as he was growing up here
with us.
When he was nearly a year old he left home to go
and live with Mia full time, and we visited him on
his first birthday.
He is growing beautifully and Mia has been kept
entertained by his antics.  He has now gone 'out
paddock' to grow for a while.
Gryphon isnt afraid of
anything at all, he is quite
happy to wander over the
little 'bridge' and picks up
cones, hula hoops, bags,
and whatever else he can
them!
December 2009 Update -
Gryphon has been brought
back in from the paddock
and has grown quite a bit.
He is about to get a rude
awakening and be put into
light work and taught all
about the show ring in hand!
January 2010 Update - Amelia and Gryphon
went to the SA Pinto State Championships and
did quite well!
Gryphon was beautifully behaved and Amelia
was thrilled with him, and their efforts on the day!
Sire: Allen Park Bald Eagle
Dam: Baxters Faberge
DOB: 8th November 2007
Folly presented us with a gorgeous Chestnut and
White colt at 1:38am.  He is beautifully marked on
both sides and is already proving that he is a cheeky
young lad.  He is always on the go!

He has been SOLD to Amelia Greenfield of Pt
Augusta, SA.  Amelia hopes to event him in the
years to come.  He was put on hold at just a few
hours old and the sale confirmed with Amelia
and her mum, Lynn's visit on the 13th November!
October 2010 Update -
Amelia had turned
Gryphon out for 8 months,
and on the 23rd October,
she brought him back in to
begin doing some work with
him.  He is pictured here in
the paddock with his mates.
Gryphon travelled home well, and settled
back into stable life as if he had not been out
started under saddle.  He looks fantastic!
On the 3rd of December, on our way
through Pt Augusta, we stopped in to say
hello to Amelia, Lynn and Gryphon.  As
you can see above - he looks amazing!
Right and below are photos of Amelia and
Gryphon at the Pretty In Pink Show in
December 2010 at Mt Pleasant.
They did really well and came home with 4
ribbons - 3 2nds and a 3rd!  Well done
guys!
At the start of January 2011, Amelia started
breaking him to saddle.  He handled it all rather
well and while he wasn't openly stressed,
Amelia said he was a bit concerned at times,
but just has a very 'quiet' way of showing it.
He looks great!!
Gryphon is
coming along
really nicely for
Amelia, and
has been
doing some
lessons as well
as some trail
riding.

He is taking
everything in
his stride and it
looks like he
and Amelia
make a
fantastic team!
