CM Cullen Eachan - 2006 Season Gelding
.
By CM Danzaponastaa
Out of CM Killarnie Ceilidh

This little fellow was born about
9:45am on the 2nd October 2006.

Cullen is registered with the Cleveland
Bay Horse Society of Australasia as a
CBSH.

He is bay with a lovely bold star.
SOLD to a QLD Dressage home with
Michelle Ott.
A few words from Michelle Ott
about her dealings with us in the
purchase of Cullen:
My special thanks goes to Craig and
Michelle at CM Sporthorses.
As you know my new colt arrived on
Sunday 3/6/07 very early at 6am.
Unfortunately I wasnt able to get there
to witness him getting off the horse
transport truck.  However as soon as I
got there I was pretty chuffed to finally
see him in person for the first time in
his 8 months.
My apologies for the first photo - it was
taken off the phone - the very first
photo of me and Cullen!
I cant quite believe my luck, as he is
everything I had hoped for - an
absoloute bargain buy!
I took a risk buying him sight unseen
from SA, knowing its so far from where
I am in Queensland, but so far so
good!  Thankyou for breeding such a
lovely quality superstar!
You kept me up to date with photos,
emails and whatnot to keep me posted
on what was happening with him and
how he was growing up from birth to
weaning, and then leaving SA.  You
even suggested the horse transporter
and the insurance company!
Everyone seems to comment on his
lovely conformation especially his front
end and his overall health.  The thing
is, I cant believe just how fast he is
growing up!  He is already just over
14.2hh at 12 months old!
I would like to say thankyou to you
both for entrusting me to buy him, for
negotiating a price that suited both of
us and also helping me with phone
calls and emails during his
transportation to Queensland.
I must say you were both pleasant to
deal with and I would have no
hesitation in coming back to buy your
stock again in the near future!
Again, thankyou for selling me this
wonderful little horse.
Once again, Thankyou!
Regards, Michelle Ott,
Queensland
The photograph at right of Cullen was
taken on the
2nd February 2008.  He is
aged 16 months old exactly.
The horse he is standing next to is
16.3hh so that gives you some idea of his
size.  He is looking fantastic!
11th May 2008 Update!
Cullen is pictured here on Mothers Day... The very clever lad managed
to send me an email for Mothers Day as well!!! How nice of Michelle Ott
(his new mum) to allow him to use her computer.... I'm sure her keyboard
needed replacing after he tap danced on it with his hooves!
He is growing beautifully, and Michelle is doing a fantastic job with him!
Just over 2 yrs old and he is looking magnificent!  Michelle is doing a
fabulous job with him and loves him to bits!
June 2009 - Cullen
is at the breakers
and is going really
well with his training
and has taken to
everything like a
duck to water - which
is kind of good as its
been raining a LOT
since he has been
there!

Cullen isnt bothered
at all about the flag
being draped over
him as you can see.
He has grown
beautifully and we
are just so thrilled for
Michelle that he is
turning out as he is!
Michelle's first
ride of Cullen
on the 26th
June 09 was
such a thrill for
her.... and
then again on
the 29th (right
and below).
On the 30th
June Michelle
and her
trainer went
out for a Trail
ride.
Michelle had a
blast - Cullen
grew about a
hand when he
saw
something a
bit different
but was fine
once he had a
good look.
We are so
pleased for
Michelle.
On the 3rd of April 2010, Cullen had a lesson with Michelles
dressage instructor who used to teach her when she had
Middi, her gorgeous big TB gelding that she sadly had to
have put to sleep.
Cullen has had some time off
due to all the rain up there in
QLD, but now that things have
dried out a bit, and the weather
is nicer, Michelle decided it was
time to get him back into the
swing of things and start work in
earnest!
As you can see he has a lovely
big trot on him, and has filled
out beautifully.
He really has his dam, Ceilidh,
in him... He is very nicely put
together and carries himself well.

Looking fabulous!

& Left - 6th
November
2010.  Below:
1st Jan. 2011.
On the 1st of May 2011, Cullen and Michelle had their FIRST dressage
competition!!    They had a fantastic time and did two tests.   Michelles smile
kind of says how pleased she was with their efforts!  It was the
Internal Dressage day at the club....He was a naughty pony to begin with but
Michelle said it was her fault for sending him 'nervous' vibes.
Michelle said: "But overall I was happy
with how he went considering it's our
FIRST competition. Our next competition
will only get better! Came 5th and the
scoring was 58.23% with 5's , 6's and
one 7's. So gotta to be happy with that!!"
We wish Michelle all the best in her
future competitions!   Michelles
daughter, Samara has enjoyed a couple
of rides on Cullen as well!
Here are a selection
of photographs of
Cullen and Michelle
taken by Downunder
Photography,
Snapped By Shelley,
Samara Ott and
Michelle Ott.

They were taken at a
variety of outings from
July to September
2011.

The photo at left is
just wonderful of
Michelle and Cullen -
it has to be one of our
favourites!
Michelle constantly struggles with
keeping the weight OFF Cullen!   He has
the typical Cleveland Bay constitution
and is an extremely easy keeper!

Michelle is really looking forward to
getting out and about with him soon!
