David & Miriam Brands Foal, "Heatwave" by Billara Beersheba, Minnipa, SA.
Early hours on the 2nd of November 2009, this gorgeous
little fellow was born.  His sire is our lovely 3/4 Cleveland Bay,
1/4 TB stallion,
Billara Beersheba, and his dam is Bel Bel - a
lovely little roan pony mare who looks to be of a welsh
background.  He was nearly 3 weeks late being born, so is a
little overcooked, however he is completely adorable, and I
think he knows it!  Bel Bel is being a brilliant first time mum
and has no problems feeding him at all.  His front end looks
Chestnut, however he is distinctly Bay Roan as he has black
in his tail and black coronet bands.  He will be registered with
the CBHSA seeing as he is 37.5% Cleveland Bay.
Above: Having a little drink from mum...
Right: Proud mum, Bel Bel.  She is a gorgeous little mare,
standing just under 14hh, but quite a little tank in her build.
This little fellow should mature around the 14.3hh mark, and
will make quite a handy little horse!
We will keep you updated as
he grows!!  He will be
available for sale.
Surrounding images are of Bel
Bel and Rusty taken on the
18th of November 2009 -
Rusty is aged 16 days here.

He is growing nicely and is
quite a solid little fellow already.
Rusty is a lovely little fellow and has a head very much
like his dad, Billara Beersheba, however we can also
see his mums sweet face in it as well.
Surrounding and Below
Photographs were taken on
the 16th of January 2010.
Rusty now has a name that
he will be registered with -
"Heatwave".
He will be for sale, and his
owners will be advertising
him very shortly.
Rusty has the most beautiful
little pony style head on him,
and a real 'look at me, Im so
good' attitude to him as he
struts his stuff in the
paddock!
On the 23rd of February 2010 we took some more photos of Rusty.
He was busy playing with one of his paddock mates, Turbo, the mini.
Rusty has a lovely trot
on him, and is quite
happy to show it off at
any time.
Rusty and Turbo got a bit boisterous with
each other and had a good old play for
quite some time.
Keep an eye out for more Rusty updates as we take photos
of him growing!
