On Sunday the 9th of August 2009
we took some more photographs of
some of the Allen Park Herd to share
with you all.
Above you can see Babe the Appy
mare, and her paddock mates
(mainly TBs) who are heavy in foal.
The sires of this
seasons foals are
Allen Park Cherokee
and Spurvolt Tu
Chicahn.
At right is Burleigh - who is on loan from CM
Sporthorses - she will be served by Allen Park
Cherokee shortly for what we all hope is a lovely big
coloured foal in 2010.
At right you can see Trents newest addition to his herd -
a lovely little Donkey Jack named Blackjack.
Below you can see more of the herd.
The photos above are of the herd at the 'home block' - there are quite a number of horses in that herd.
Below you can see some photos of some of one of the other herds at Wudinna East.  There are herds spread
all over the properties, running in numbers from around 10 to 40 per herd.
Above is Allen Park Lakota - by Cherokee out of Dakota.  Above Right she is with
Sparkle who is by Allen Park Bald Eagle.  The bay and white foal at left and below is
the last foal by Allen Park Bald Eagle, and is a filly!  She is being retained for now.
Baldys last filly is a
ripper, and is out of a
TB mare, making her
3/4 TB 1/4 Station
Bred Stock Horse.

Below you can see
Nugget with
Blackjack and Trents
palomino QH colt.
Left and Below: Pinto and Ozzie - the kids ponies!  Both
little delinquents, but completely loveable.
Above: Serrana, and at right with her
2008 foal, Sadiki.  At this time of year it
is lovely to see plenty of feed around.
Below you can see
Allen Park Sioux with
her 2008 foal,
Thunderbolt.
At left you can see her
with some of the herd
at Wudinna East.

Below Left is Sisika,
Serrana's foal from
2006.

Far Below is Strawbs,
another roan and
Scarlett.
Above is Beccy, and at left is Strawbs.
We hope you have enjoyed these photos!
