Allen Park Studs Herd - 9th September 2008 The photographs on this page were taken on the "Home Block" just west of Wudinna. The horses on this farm are split into two herds and then there are a number in the yards and stables. The horses in the first herd here are running with sheep.

There are about 25 horses in this particular herd. A mixture of Thoroughbreds, Quarter Horses, Clydesdale x's and a couple of ponies. Mares, Fillies and Geldings are in this herd. The home block is about 2500 acres, however the stock dont have access to all of it - quite a big portion is locked up as crop for hay and grain.
Some horses are a little more relaxed than others as you can see above!
