Allen Park Studs Herd...
11th March 2008 - just on sunset....
The photographs on this page were taken on the
11th March 2008, just as the sun was going down,
hence the lovely sunset with the horses above...
Allen Park Cherokee, pictured left, is looking
fabulous at the moment and doesnt seem to know
that there is a drought and a fairly bare paddock!
He looks over his 'girls and babies' and enjoys being
in the paddock with them.
Below is Retirement Fund (TB) and her 2007 Colt by
Cherokee.  He is a lovely looking young colt and is
going to be quite tall when he finishes growing!
Cherokee certainly throws lovely foals!
Above is another of Cherokees lovely foals - a colt out of a lovely
Chestnut TB mare.  Left is Zamakee - who is heading off to Victoria
once weaned.   She is out of Dark Zam - a black TB mare and by
Cherokee.  Below: Cherokee wandering towards his mares...
Above is Zamakee and the bay and white colt having a bit of a chat!
Below are a few shots of the three horses in another paddock.... they havent got a stallion in with
them at the moment.  Below Left is a lovely chestnut and white filly - she is growing nicely at the
moment and will be bred from later down the track.  Below Right is a lovely big bay and white mare
who is an Allen Park Bald Eagle grandaughter, and has a little heavy horse in her as well.  She has
been used for a variety of work and is now being a mum and enjoying some time out in the paddock.
Above and Below is the lovely filly out
of the mare pictured at Left.
She is by a Stock Horse Stallion, and
should grow up into a lovely looking
girl.  Shes already well on her way!
Back at the 'home farm' the photos above were taken.
Left is Allen Park Lakota and Allen Park Dakota - Dakota is Lakota's dam.  Both these girls are in foal
to
Billara Beersheba, a Cleveland Bay Sporthorse,  for September 2008 foals.
