On the 20th September 2009 in one of the Allen Park paddocks, there were 7 or 8 Wedge Tailed Eagles
circling and picking at a sheep carcass.  They are beautiful big birds with wing spans of around 6 - 7 ft.
Here are a few photos of one or two of them to share with you all.

This magnificent fellow was on
the side of the road between
Kimba and Iron Knob with the
remains of a Kangaroo.

He (or she??) just stood there
happily while we pulled up on
the opposite side of the road
and took some photos of him.
