The babies are all happy and healthy which is
all we can ask for!
As we have no grazing (as is blatantly obvious
by taking one look at our paddocks!!), we feed
basically as much hay as they want to eat...
As you can see we park bales of hay in the
paddocks (depending on the weight of the foals
and mares - if they get a bit heavy, we go back
to hand feeding them over the fence daily).
It takes them about 5 days to go through a
400kg bale of hay.  This is 4 mares and 4 foals.
 Oh, and Chloe, the cow!
Chloe loves to rub against the hay and spread
it everywhere - but thats ok, she is the one who
has to eat it afterwards!
Left is CM Sorta Sassy wandering around while
everyone else is eating.

Below Left is CM Midnight Moonlight (Legs),
looking just lovely!  She is going to be a tall
athletic girl and we cant wait to see her out and
about later on down the track.  While being a
solid paint, she would suit showing in the
western ring, she is probably going to suit the
hack ring and eventing as well!

Below: Killari - looking like she could have
another foal at any moment....
Right: CM KIllarnie Ceilidh, and Below Left, her
daughter: CM Brietta Carlin (Carli).
Right and Below: CM Sorta Sassy (with
Kaysand Kinda Cute in the photo at right).
Below Right: CM Midnight Moonlight (Legs).
Above: Lady Tuthaside - a real sweetheart - and CM
Midnight Moonlights mum, eating alongside CM
Brigadier Royston (Jack).
Right: Jack and his mum Billara Killari, with Ceilidh.
Above Right: Ceilidh and Carli
Ceilidh and Killari are
best of mates - they
are quite attatched to
each other, which is
good as they generally
go to the same
stallion, and it makes
for easy paddocking.
They are not joined at
the hip in the sense
that they cant be
separated though -
neither one is worried
if the other isnt around
- they are both just so
laid back!
Below: Chloe the cow,
doing what cows do -
licking their nostrils!
Right: The lovely Legs.... CM Midnight
Moonlight.  She is such a pretty girl!
Below: The cheeky CM Sorta Sassy - also a
very pretty girl, and quite refined for a
Cleveland Bay Sporthorse.  She is going to be
a head turner that one!
Above: Cutie and Sassy - Cutie is a lovely mare who
takes very good care of her foal.
Left: Legs having a little canter. Below: Jack - who is one
of those foals that just commands attention in the
paddock!  He stands out from the crowd!! Which is hard
with this years foals all being so much like that!
Above: Chloe - looking really nice!  This pic doesnt show how
small she actually is - shes quite a small cow at 18 months old
