20th November 2008
Here are some photographs of the babies and their mums in the
paddock.   They are all looking great and are enjoying being out
in a bigger area and having all the trees to hide behind!
The kids are almost allowed to play together now - the mums are
still a bit protective, but are relaxing quite a bit!
Below is CM Brietta Carlin, out of CM Killarnie Ceilidh and by
Allen Park Bald Eagle.  She is our only pinto foal this year, and
we couldnt have asked for better!
At left and below are
Rossida and CM Silver
Serendade (Dusty) -
who looks like she will
stay Bay now and NOT
go grey!
She is growing
beautifully and is
going to be a big solid
horse when fully
grown!
She is lovely and
broad across the
back, wither, chest
and butt!  Rossida will
go back to Billara
Beersheba again for a
repeat of Dusty next
year.
Above Left, Right and Below are Billara Killari
and the gorgeous CM Brigadier Royston (Jack)
who is by Allen Park Bald Eagle.
Jack will be heading off to Western Australia
when weaned, as will Carli (CM Brietta Carlin) -
both are going to young ladies who know each
other through a horse forum and through
jumping.  It will be interesting to see them
competing against each other down the track.
Jack is the
sweetest
natured colt!
Craig led Lady Tuthaside and her gorgeous filly,
CM Midnight Moonlight (Legs) over to the paddock
to join the girls.  Legs decided she had to walk
between 'dad' and her mum.  She is such a friendly
little thing (ok, not so little!).
We have decided that Lady will go to CM Oberon
Toblerone for next years foal.
Tobi decided to have a look at his future 'wife'
as she walked past.
We should have given Lady a bath before
turning her out so I could get some
photographs of her CLEAN.... Oh well, she is a
typical grey horse out here in red dirt!
Below you can see me giving Legs a bit of a
cuddle before she was turned out in the
paddock.  Shes so cuddly, and loves attention.
She has a lovely big walk and trot on her and
will be a lovely tall girl when fully grown.
Below is CM Sorta Sassy and her mum, Kaysand Kinda Cute.  Sassy is by Billara Beersheba - so is a half sister to
Dusty who is pitcured above.
With Cutie being a 13.2hh Welsh/Arabian mare, Sassy should stay within the height range for Pony Dressage and
Sports Pony competitions..... if she goes over height for those, she will be galloway height at most we imagine.
She is quite tiny compared to the other foals and is a gorgeous and 'sassy' little package!
She will suit the rider who wants a Cleveland Bay in a small package with a bit of the refinement of the Arabian.
She is 37.5% Cleveland Bay, 25% Arabian, 25% Welsh, and 12.5% Thoroughbred.
Sassy has her
mothers
gorgeous little
ears and
dishy face!
She is full of
cheek loves
attention.
