Due to insanely hot weather and a few
other things, we have not taken the
amount of photos of the foals as normal!
We made up for it on the 22nd of
February however as you will see on
this page!
The first filly is our 2007 filly - CM
Commanding Miss (who was born in
January 2008) - who is growing nicely
and looking like a lovely young horse.
She has a sweet disposition and is a
joy to have here.
She was Billara Beershebas first foal to
hit the ground and we decided to keep
her as a future broodmare - however if
someone decided they HAD to have
her, we MAY part with her.
She is a darling girl who has such a
kind expression on her face all the time.
Jenni (her paddock name) and Pheonix
get along like a house on fire - Pheonix
is a filly by Spuvolt Tu Chicahn (owned by
Trent Allen from Allen Park Stud) and out
of an Allen Park Bald Eagle mare.
Pheonix belongs to a friend of ours,
Linda, and is agisted here for a while.
She is the boss of the paddock, and
Jenni is quite happy with that
arrangement as she is not a dominant
girl at all.  She is quite happy to be in
second place.
CM Silver Serenade (Dusty) is looking rather odd
at the moment - she is going through one of 'those'
growth spurts!  In a couple of weeks she will look
'normal' again.... With the heat and being away, I
missed getting the shots of her looking 'normal'
after her last little growth spurt!
She is a sweet girl and has very obviously started
going grey as you can see... She is sharing a
paddock with Jenni and Pheonix.
Above is Shell and CM
Brigadier Royston
(Jack) having a little
conversation.
Jack is
growing
beautifully, he
and Carli still
have their -
and in the pic
at left, you
can see Carli
has stood on
Jacks rope,
giving him a
little check
back!
gelded on the 24th
Feb.... the poor lad
wont know whats
hit him - gelded,
microchipped and
vet inspected in the
same day!
CM Brietta Carlin (Carli) is certainly
doing well on her mum and with the
feed she is getting as well.
You can see by the condition of the
foals that they are certainly getting all
they need.  So much so that the
mares have been cut back to just
good hay and a mineral block as we
dont want the kids to get too heavy!
Carli gets a microchip and vet
inspected on the 24th as well.
Both Carli and
similar and
CHUNKY
builds.  They
Both Carli and
Both Carli and
Jack have very
Jack have very
similar and
CHUNKY
builds.  They
are certainly
going to be little
powerhouses
when they are
mature!
Kaysand Kinda Cute and her gorgeous daughter by
Billara Beersheba, CM Sorta Sassy, are looking
great.  Cutie is such a lovely girl, and we couldnt be
happier with the lovely young lady she produced for us
in Sassy.... We are hoping for a repeat later this year.
Sassy is quite
solid without
being too solid.
movement just
like her mum and
dad, and is
looking exactly
as we had hoped
she would at this
stage in her
growth.
CM Mighty Wings is growing up exactly as we hoped she would.
She is a lovely girl and we will be sad to see her go if she is sold,
and certainly would not be disappointed if we ended up keeping her.
She is a nosey little girl and loves coming up to see what we are
doing in HER paddock!
Wings is quite
like her sire,
Billara
Beersheba,
and very much
like her half
siblings in a lot
of ways.  It is
great to see
Bill is throwing
the same
qualities
consistently to
his offspring.
The odd one out in our foal crop this season is
the gorgeous young CM Midnight Moonlight
being that she is a Solid Paint.
She is by the QH stallion, Treena Boom Deck
and out of Lady Tuthaside who is a grey Overo
Paint with a chestnut base.
Legs is a tall leggy filly who has the most
exquisite trot on her and will be quite tall.
Legs is quite
independant of her dam
and is often hanging
around the other mare
in the paddock, Allen
Park Desert Fox (Foxy)
or on her own.
Lady doesnt seem
worried about Legs
wandering off either -
she is probably happy
for the peace and quiet
at times!
Left and Below is the gorgeous
Forest.... He is our newest
acquisition... a 3/4 Cleveland Bay
stallion by Forest Field Day out of
a Billara Padbury mare, Killarnie
Breeze.
He has fit right in here and made
himself at home.
Forest has the
loveliest of faces
and a kind
expression at all
times.
He is a very laid
back fellow which
suits us fine!
Left: Bill and Forest - the two 3/4 CB stallions...
seperated by a 12 ft laneway - Forest has electric on
his paddock - Bill just has a standard fence.
Below: The gorgeous Billara Beersheba....
Left: Bill and Shell having a little
moment.... He is such a big
smoocher - I was trying to take
photos and Bill was in my face,
so I handed the camera to Craig
for a quick snap of the two of us!
Left:  Yes, Bill can move!
However what you dont see in
the photos is Craig having to
PUSH him (literally behind him
pushing him to MOVE) and finally
he got the message and went for
a few strides of a canter and
trot... then back to a walk and fell
asleep again.  He is extremely
laid back and is wonderful with
the foals in the paddock with him.
Above is Allen Park Desert Fox - Foxy for short.... She is a lovely girl and should produce a beautiful foal to
Billara Beersheba later this year!
