The 14th of January 2009 was a pretty warm day, however it was cooler than the days have been - so it was trim time for Dusty and Jenni... As you can see, Dusty was standing nicely for Craig as he was trimming her hooves...
Dont ask what is going on with that neck on Dusty this week... she has looked 'normal' up til the last weekend, and probably by next week will look 'normal' again - but right now, we think we are a giraffe!!
Below is Dustys wound on her shoulder - you can see it is healing up really well and has minimal scarring - in a couple of months we doubt it will be noticeable.
Dusty stood quietly tied up while Jenni had her pedicure - pictured below and in the three images far below.
Left is the stallion paddock on what we refer to as 'the other block'... you can see Cutie in the distance standing there.... a zoomed in shot of her below left, and Sassy having a snooze in the sun below.
Above - Foxy picking up hay scraps... Above Right: Wings - being a strange child and having a conversation with a tree... On the 17th Jan, we took more pics.... Right: Wings having a munch at the hay bale. Below: Bill, Wings and Salle eating from the hay bale. This was a new bale that had just been put in and the strings popped and removed from it.
Left is the ever so cute Sassy who just KNOWS she is adorable... Her equally lovely mum, Cutie is at right. Below you can see Bill wondering who Craig is leading up the laneway, and if it is a girl for HIM.... Sorry buddy, shes a bit young! Pheonix is one of three horses that belong to a very dear friend of ours and the horses are staying with us for a while!
Jenni and Dusty were wondering who the 'intruders' were into their paddock...
Pepper and Brandy (the little one) explored their new home and got to know Jenni and Dusty.
